Seoul—Nippon Shokubai said it has filed a lawsuit at Seoul Central District Court in the Republic of Korea against LG Chem seeking injunctions against infringement of several of Nippon's Korean patents relating to superabsorbent polymers (SAP) and the method of manufacture thereof.
