Mesaieed— Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Co. (Muntajat) has received Gas Ionian, a modern 9,000 cu m liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier, on time charter in Mesaieed, Qatar. The new vessel, built in 2011, will primarily be used to transport vinyl chloride monomer produced by Qatar Vinyl Co. to customers on the sub-continent and in South East Asia.
