Seoul—Korea Kum-ho Petrochemical Co.'s (KKPC) new solution styrene butadiene rubber (SSBR) plant has reached the mechanical completion stage at KKPC's industrial complex in Yeosu, South Korea (PCN, 1 Aug 2011, p.1). Project contractor Daelim said it started work on the 60,000-t/y SSBR plant in July 2011 and completed it "in disaster-free mode, despite the relatively short construction period of 16.5 months."
