Lyon—Solvay Polyamide & Intermediates has begun the approval process with German regulation authorities to double copolymer production capacity at Freiburg, Germany. The copolymers are part of Solvay's Stabamid High-Performance portfolio, "designed for demanding end-use applications in engineering plastics, industrial yarns and textile," the company noted.
