Hackberry— A joint venture of CB&I and Chiyoda International Corp. has received a contract by Sempra Energy's Cameron LNG subsidiary for construction of the Cameron Liquefaction Project in Hackberry, La. The contract, valued at approximately $6-billion, covers engineering, procurement and construction for the addition of natural gas liquefaction and export facilities at an existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification facility. The Cameron Liquefaction Project will be comprised of three liquefaction trains with a nameplate capacity of about 13.5-million t/y.
