Doha— Qatar Petrochemical Co. (Qapco) and Materia have signed a memorandum of understanding to study the development of the next generation of materials produced from existing feedstocks in Qatar. Qapco's resources combined with Materia's expertise and breakthrough catalyst technology will provide for the development of new products, the companies explained. Together, they will explore the possibilities to further optimize the use of Qatar's natural resources by studying how to extract new products, with the goal of maximizing the value related to Qapco's existing processes.
