London—Ineos last week strongly disputed a report by the UK Parliament's Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) that calls for a halt to shale gas development in the UK. The EAC report concluded: "Shale fracking should be put on hold in the UK because it is incompatible with our climate change targets and could pose significant localized environmental risks to public health."
