Shaanxi- Pucheng Clean Energy Chemical Co. Ltd. (PCEC) has started up its new 300,000-t/y high-density and linear low-density polyethylene (PE) plant in China's Shaanxi Province (PCN, 8 Nov 2010, p 1). The project, undertaken by Wison Engineering, is based on Univation's Unipol PE technology and is part of PCEC's 700,000-t/y coal-to-olefins project.
