Kivanlv—The State Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan has reached credit agreements with Japan Bank for International Cooperation and Korea Eximbank for $700-mil-lion and $1.8-billion, respectively, to help finance Turk-mengaz's planned gas chemical complex in Turkmenistan. Last month, a consortium of Toyo Engineering, Hyundai Engineering and LG International won the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the project, which is being built in Kiyanly (PCN, 19 May 2014, p 2).
