Moscow— Rosneft and General Electric (GE) have signed an agreement to expand their science and technology cooperation by establishing a series of joint ventures. The first phase envisions the creation of two specialized centers in Russia—a research and development center and an application engineering and training center. The research and development center will focus on the development of joint technologies and upgrading of existing technologies with top priority on gas monetization activities, refining and petrochemicals, including gas to liquids technologies and new polymers. The application engineering and training center will concentrate on development of Rosneft projects.
