Brussels— Repsol and Grupo Kuo have received approvals from the European Commission (EC) and Mexico's Federal Competition Commission to integrate their synthetic rubber and chemical accelerators business into Dynasol, a 50-50 joint venture of Repsol and Grupo Kuo (PCN, 4 May 2015, p 2). Specifically, Repsol will contribute its chemical accelerators for rubber vulcanization unit, General Quimica, located in Alava, Spain. Grupo Kuo will provide Dynasol with its synthetic rubber solution and nitrile rubber units in Altamira, Mexico, and China.
