Washington-The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (Socma) announced its support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and said it will "actively advocate for passage" of the TPP (PCN, 8 Feb 2016, p 2). Twelve nations have signed the TPP, a trade deal that would reduce tariffs among the participating partners and reduce trade and investment barriers.
