Jakarta—Oman has committed to invest $7-billion to build a refinery and petrochemical plant, as well as storage facilities, in Indonesia, according to media reports quoting Indonesian Energy and Mineral Resouces Minister Sudirman Said. Oman would supply the crude for the refinery and production Would be purchased by Pertamina. Construction is expected to begin in 2016.
