Zhangzhou— Dynamic Ever Investments Ltd., based in Taiwan, and Fujian Petrochemical Co., a subsidiary of Sinopec, have established an equally-owned joint venture company to build a petrochemical complex in China, Reuters reported. The project, being built at the Gulei Petrochemical Industrial Park in Zhangzhou City, involves a 1-million-t/y ethylene unit and downstream facilities. Cost of the project is estimated at around $4-billion. A construction schedule was not given.
