El Dorado—LSB Industries has reached mechanical completion at its new 375,000-t/y ammonia plant in El Dorado, Ark. (PCN, 14 Dec 2015, p 3). "Mechanical completion represents one of the final critical phases in our El Dorado expansion project," noted LSB Chief Executive Daniel Greenwell. "We were able to achieve mechanical completion in the time frame that we outlined in September of last year, and we continue to expect ammonia production at El Dorado to begin early in the second quarter of 2016," he added.
