Milan—Kemira announced it has upgraded its polymer production facility in San Giorgio, Italy, with state-of-the-art technology, allowing for further business expansion in the south EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) markets. "With our new energy-efficient bioacrylamide process, we are able to reduce our environmental impact. . .." noted Enzo Omboni, managing director of Kemira Italy. "What's more, we are self-sufficient in some of Kemira's key raw material processes."
