Ipojuca— Alpek said that its continued negotiations with Petrobras regarding the potential acquisition of Petrobras' stakes in Petroquimica Suape and Citepe, have advanced in good terms (PCN, 3 Oct 2016, p 4). Alpek has been in negotiations with Petrobras since this past July over the Brazilian units. PCN earlier reported that Alpek was excepted to offer Petrobras up to $700-million for the stakes.
