Dynamic response of circulating flux flow in amorphous superconducting films

We report on the dynamic response of the (weakly disordered) vortex lattice to an applied radial current I in the Corbino disk (CD) of amorphous MoxGe1-x films with different diameters (d = 4.6 and 1.6 mm). In CD, the vortices circulate around the center of the sample by feeling a nonuniform Lorentz force inversely proportional to the radius of rotation. We find irrespective of d that, with increasing I in the solid phase, the vortices near the center are first depinned, indicative of the plastic flow-like rotation instead of the elastic rotation. We also find that, with further increasing I, the plastic flow gives way to the liquid-like rotation. In the length range studied the sample size (d) does not affect the dynamic response of vortices.
