A growing trade in distressed cargoes ofimported thermal coal is creating two-tier trade for seabornecargoes in the CFR China market and is putting spot prices atrisk of breaking through key support at $70/mt, tradingsources said Wednesday.The CFR South China (CCI 8) price was assessed at$73.10/mt basis 5,500 kcal/kg NAR, excluding Chinese valueaddedtax, 20 cents lower than the previous day’s assessment.
