Poland will not meet its binding EU target to produce 15% ofits final energy consumption from renewable sources by 2020,Grzegorz Wisniewski, the head of the country’s Institute of RenewableEnergy, said Wednesday.“We face real problems in three areas — heat, biofuels and electricitygeneration — and I think there is no investment climate for renewableenergy so I’m sure we will not reach the target,” said Wisniewski, whoadvises the Polish president on renewable energy matters.
