摘要

The first singlet excited state of ammonia is a model system for nonadiabtic photodissociation dynamics. The A state of NH_3 is quasibound with a barrier in the exit channel leading to the products H+NH_2. The competition between noadiabatic and adiabatic dissociation governs the branching between the ground the first electronic excited states of the NH_2 fragment in the region bebyond the barrier on the excited state.
