This error also implies that the first three figures of the paper must be modified. Figures 1-3 are replotted here, using thevalue of 01=0.005 (instead of the value of 0.015 used in Ref. 1). These figures are very similar to Figs. 1-3 of Ref. 1. Thereis thus no change in the conclusions reached in the paper, especially with regard to the analysis of the experimental results forthe scattering of Ar atoms from the Ag(111) surface.
