In their comment,Clegg and Brimblecombe question the validity of both the data and the model of Knopf et al.and conclude that their own "AIM appears to yield more accurate predictions of water and H_2SO_4 activities under most conditions,including low temperatures".In the following,we respond to these criticisms and discuss why we do not agree with these conclusions.
