IT'S NO SECRET that plant bugs have wreaked havoc on cotton growers in the Mid-South for the past few years. In the Mississippi Delta in 2009, growers averaged 6.5 sprays and S71.01 spent per-acre on the plant bug alone. Those numbers haven't gone unnoticed by Mid-South growers when making their planting decisions, either.
