Comfort characteristics of pure cotton knitted fabrics and polyester-cotton blended knitted fabrics of various knit densities have been reported in the present paper. The wear comfort parameters v.z., air permeability, water vapour transportation timeand thermal insulation were measured using standard procedures. Analysis of data revealed that power law type of relations exit between air permeability and knit densities of both cotton as well as cotton-polyester knitted fabrics. Similar relations have been also observed between water vapour transportation time and knit density of cotton as well as cotton- polyester blendedfabrics. However, thermal insulation did not show any definite trend with knit density of fabrics.
