A field experiment was conducted during 2005-2006 to find out the response of winter cottonfollowed by summer maize to integrated use of drip and poly mulching as compared to conventional irrigation. Drip at 0.4 Etc (crop evapo-transpiration), Drip at0.8 Etc, Poly mulching + drip at 0.4 Etc, Poly mulching + drip at 0.8 Etc were evaluated against conventional irrigation and poly-mulching without drip. The results revealed that irrespective of the irrigation schedule, Poly-mulching improved the growthand seed cotton yield significantly than drip and conventional methods. The enhancement in seed cotton yield due to poly mulching and poly-mulch + drip ranged from 825 to 980 kg/ha, while the yield enhancement due to drip irrigation was 200-493 kg/ha incotton over conventional method. The total water requirement ranged form 57.3 to 92.7 ha cm and scheduling of irrigation at 0.4 Etc + Poly mulching recorded the highest water use efficiency (42.7 kg of seed cotton/ha cm) while the lowest was recorded under conventional method (16.10 kg of seed cotton/ha cm). In quality parameters, the span length recorded significant increase due to drip with 0.8 etc, poly-mulch + drip at 0.4 and 0.8 Etc. The yield of zero tilled summer maize raised after the cotton also influenced significantly due to poly-mulching as compared todrip alone and conventional method. The highest maize grain yield (6829 kg/ha) was achieved at poly-mulching + drip at 0.4 Etc which was 52.1 % higher than conventional method.
