The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry released on the 29th of October a plan to produce special steel products ( hot-rolled products ) in Japan in October - December quarter of 2010. According to this plan, the quantities of special steel products to be produced in October - December quarter are <> for domestic sales : 3,567,600 tons, <> for exports : 1,804,600 tons and <> total : 5,372,300 tons, which increase by 4.2% compared with that ( 5,156,800 tons ) in the preceding quarter of July - September and also have a substantial increase of 17.7% compared to that ( 4,563,800 tons ) in the same quarter of 2009. The total quantity of special steel products to be produced in Japan in October - December quarter of 2010 is anticipated to reach the highest level per quarter since the Lehman shock.
