A model of diffusion processes for chemical reactions is shown to describe well the main characteristics of a model reaction of reesterification. The structure of the reaction product (a heptylbenzoate molecule) and the formation of its parts are the main factors controlling the diffusion processes in this case. The processes are described within the framework of strange (anomalous) diffusion. (C) 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
