摘要

Functionalized poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)containing four chloride end functional groups (PEG-Cl_4)was synthesized through reaction between cyanuric chlo-ride and PEG-(OH)_2. Chloride end functional groups ofPEG-Cl_4were able to initiate the ring opening polymeriza-tion of 2-ethyl-2-oxazoline and star copolymers containinga PEG core, and poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) (PDX) armswere obtained. Polymerization was quenched using dieth-anolamine, and star copolymers containing hydroxyl endfunctional groups (PEG-PDX-OH) were obtained. e-Capro-lactone was then polymerized using the hydroxyl end
