摘要

Thermodynamic analysis of hydrogen interaction with TiFe nanocrystalline intermetallic compound produced by mechanical alloying has been carried out using microcalorimetric titration technique. The boundary of the phase regions and H-2 absorption/desorption reaction enthalpies have been defined in comparison with conventional as-cast alloy. It has been concluded that specific microstructure and oxygen contamination determine the system features within the a solid solution region and play a key role in formation of beta(2) and gamma, but does not affect the thermodynamic parameters of the main beta -> alpha transformation.
