摘要

The silicide ThCoSi crystallizes with a tetragonal crystal structure of the LaPtSi-type (space group I4(1)md) that lacks an inversion center. Its properties were studied by means of magnetization, electrical resistivity and heat capacity measurements, performed down to 0.4 K in magnetic fields up to 50 kOe. This weakly correlated compound was revealed to exhibit bulk superconductivity below T-c = 2.95 K, characterized by the upper critical field comparable to the Pauli-Clogston limit. The specific heat data hint at possible nodal character of the superconducting state. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
