摘要

Al-Ti deoxidation is commonly adopted in steelmaking especially to steel grades for high heat inputwelding such as ship plates and structural steels. The formation of Al-Ti-O inclusion with cation vacancyallows the inter-diffusion of Mn from steel matrix into the oxide, resulting in Mn depletion zone (MDZ) topromote nucleation of intragranular ferrite during solidification[1]. Considerable research has been conductedon optimal Al and Ti concentration to achieve this purpose. However, Al-Ti-O inclusion further changes inthe following reheating process. It is the final state of inclusion affects steel properties. This research aims toreveal evolution behavior of Al-Ti-O inclusion during isothermal holding at 1573 K.
