HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) market continues to face a tighter supply picture while feedstock costs are on the rise, adding pressure as the year’s end nears. More limited supply availability has been seen from at least one producer after Celanese implemented sales control in a number of regions globally. Separately, Dow continues to implement longer lead times amid shorter carrier availability for the product.
