摘要

Preliminary investigations were carried out for judging the culinary maturity of kair fruits for vegetable carry or pickle preparation. It was revealed that immaturity rather than maturity of the fruits is of economic importance. The fruits harvestedafter 7-10 days of fruit setting with 5-8 mm diameter during March-April fetch better price in the market.
