An experiment was conducted to study the effect of in situ moisture conservation practices and organic amendments on productivity and water use of pearl millet under rainfed condition at Nagaur, Rajasthan, India. Addition of Teprosia weed mulch at 4 tonnes ha-1 improved the growth and yield attributes, grain yield (1985 kg ha-1), water use (30.45 cm) and water use efficiency (65.19 kg ha-1 cm-1) over other moisture conservation practices due to increased availability of moisture.
