Diesel is pouring into European storage with bumper imports helping to twist the region’s benchmark ICE low-sulfur gasoil futures contract into its widest contango in over three months. Second-month ICE futures were trading at a $1.50 per metric ton premium over the front-month Thursday, enough to encourage stockpiling in the shoulder season between winter heating and summer driving demand.
