Russian natural gas producer and LNG export champion Novatek saw its revenues plunge in the second quarter of this year as its operations came under pressure from the Covid-19 pandemic and low prices. The company reported a 34% year-on-year drop in revenue to 143.94 billion rubles ($2 billion) in the second quarter after a 21% drop in the first quarter, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards.
