UK-based engineering company Wood has pledged to reduce its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 40% by 2030 from a 2019 baseline figure, setting a new standard among its European peers. FTSE 250-listed Wood said its target would put the company “on a trajectory well beyond the 2°C temperature goal identified by the Paris Agreement."
