India's H-Energy, a unit of real estate developer Hiranandani Group, has delayed the start-up of its 4 million ton/yr floating LNG terminal in Jaigarh until the first quarter of 2019 due to pipeline issues. The company had previously expected to start up the facility by the end of this year. Difficulties connecting the terminal to the regional gas grid via a 60 km pipeline - plus heavy monsoon rains - have slowed progress, H-Energy senior LNG trader Rahul Tiwari told reporters on the sidelines of the CWC LNG conference in Singapore today. "But such delays are common (in the LANG industry)," he added.
