Shell has awarded a contract extension to the Petrojarl Knarr FPSO owned by Altera Infrastructure (formerly Teekay Offshore) – but some terms have been changed, including a reduction in day rate. Altera Infrastructure said that its subsidiary Teekay Knarr had entered into a contract amend- ment with Shell, as the operator of the Knarr field, which extends the contract for the lease and oper- ation of the Petrojarl Knarr Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) until at least March 2022.
