China’s domestic prices for hot-rolled coil were mixed on WednesdayNovember 22, with those in Tianjin edging up further on a supplydrop, while the range in Shanghai widened downward after thepaper market weakened.Prices in Tianjin continued to edge up with deliveries to the cityfalling as a result of Baotou Iron & Steel, a major HRC supplier in northChina, putting its steelmaking equipment on maintenance. Thesupply drop was enough to offset effects of a weakening futuresmarket, a trader in the city said.
