摘要

This meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the role of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2B (p15(INK4B)) methylation in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). p15(INK4B) methylation was significantly higher in MDS than in nontumor controls, higher in advanced MDS than in early MDS, and correlated with worse overall survival. Therefore, p15(INK4B) methylation was associated with MDS development, progression, and prognosis.
