摘要

London—The ferrous scrap to iron ore price ratio has dived to a multiyear low, as demand from blast furnaces in China continues to support iron ore fines, according to analysis by S&P Global Platts. Steel output in China, which reached record monthly highs in the second quarter after the coronavirus pandemic left port stocks lower, and weaker US and European demand for steel and scrap, is leading to a bigger divergence in steel raw materials markets.
