Mobil said it is anticipated that up to 1,600 positions would be impacted across a number of European affiliates, as part of its extensive global review announced earlier this year (PCN, 23 Mar 2020, p 2). In March, the company said it was looking to "significantly" reduce spending as a result of current market conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and commodity price decreases.
