Hunts- man said it has officially opened its new Terol aromatic polyester polyols facility at its systems house in Kuan Yin, Taiwan. The 22,000-t/y polyols plant uses the company's proprietary process that upcycles polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. This is the "first" time Huntsman has manufactured its Terol polyols outside the U.S., the company noted.
