Huntsman announced it is experiencing a partial outage at its diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) facility in Geismar, La., which is estimated to last about five weeks. The outage is due to a mechanical failure at a third-party raw material supplier, the company noted. An update will be provided on Huntsman's third quarter earnings conference call on 29 Oct. 2020.
