Leverkusen— Covestro and global plastics compounder Teknor Apex have signed a cooperation agreement to work together closely on compounding Covestro's thermoplastic polyure-thane (TPU) on a global scale. Covestro has been producing TPU in pure form for many years for use in various industry sectors, Covestro noted. Through compounding, the array of achievable properties can be increased "considerably" further, it added.
