Brussels-Domo Chemicals will acquire the Solvay polyamide(PA)assets needed to be divested,as part of the European Commissions’conditional approval of BASF's planned acquisition of Solvay's PA business(PCN,21 Jan 2019,p 1).The assets to be acquired by Domo include Solvay's performance PA facilities at Belle-Etoile and Valence,France,as well as a stake in a newly created joint venture between BASF and Domo in Chalampe,France.Domo will also acquire sites in Gorzow,Poland;Blanes,Spain,and commercial activities in Germany and Italy.
