Lake Charles- Sasol announced that due to several factors within and beyond its control, it has revised the overall project capital cost estimate and the completion schedule for its Lake Charles Chemical Project (LCCP) in Lake Charles, La. (PCN, 30 July 2018, p 4). The project, originally estimated to cost $11.1-billion, is now expected to cost up to $11.8-billion, and start-up will be delayed by as many as five months, due to inclement weather, scope additions and absenteeism.
