Grand Prairie- Nauticol Energy will receive financial support from the Alberta government for its new $2-billion methanol project planned in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada (PCN, 15 Oct 2018, p 2). The project, to be built in phases, will consist of three identical methanol units with a combined capacity of 3-million t/y. Construction of the first phase is expected to begin in 2020, with commercial operations planned for 2022.
